Midweek Whisper đ±
What if the reason your mind struggles to switch off is not because youâre bad at relaxingâŠ
A gentle moment to pause and reflect.
What if the reason your mind struggles to switch off is not because youâre bad at relaxingâŠ
but because being mentally âonâ became your way of staying in control?
So even in quiet moments,
your mind keeps scanning.
Planning.
Rehearsing.
Preparing.
Not necessarily because something is wrong.
Maybe because somewhere along the way,
your nervous system learned that constantly thinking ahead felt safer than letting go.

Interesting idea for someone with an ever-active brain to consider. But at age 74, Iâm glad my brain is so active â redirecting the traffic of thoughts could be helpful, though.
